We had a premium star view room. It comfortably accommodated us. there is not an overhang and your are a ways from the lobby and light. We enjoyed the entire stay. Premium Cabins. I've attached a couple photos. Then we drove up to the hotel. there is not an overhang and your are a ways from the lobby and light. We had the opportunities to experience the amazing sunrise and sunset. The hotel restaurant was very good and we thought was reasonably priced for the area. Restaurant staff we found to be excellent, very friendly & attentive to our requirements -- in fact first class service. The only downside (which did not affect us) was that the bunk bed room would have been very claustrophobic if it had to be used by any one older than very young children. It would have been worth the price for this alone. But, if I were to do it all over again, I wouldn't. The hotel is very expensive (we only stayed the one night), the food is atrocious and shouldn't even be considered edible (but it's all that's there - bring your own if you do stay) and there were blood stains on one of the beds.

I enquired about availability of a cabin direct from The View for Oct and got the answer back listing 4 different cabins and prices. We stayed on the top level but every level would be great.

Nothing can beat waking up before sunrise, making a cup of coffee and sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise behind the mittens!
