Hell, Michael Dougherty's Halloween masterpiece Trick r Treat got screwed out of its theatrical release inexplicably and almost didn't even get released period! Incredible restoration of one of my favorite anthologies! Love this anthology, the first of the five stories is a bit week but they all improve as the film goes on.

Now don't get me wrong, I think of King as a true modern genius (for 'Salem's Lot' if nothing more), and I've no objections to him having fun.

Creepshow is an American horror anthology web television series that was released on Shudder in 2019. The new Creepshow takes the form of an anthology series for the AMC-owned horror streaming service Shudder (it's the platform's first original series). It's just as great as the original film and definitely blows the terrible Creepshow 2 & 3 and the Tales from the Darkside films out of the water IMO! I had kind of forgotten about Cheepshow until I discovered this version a few months back. Indulge. With Carey Jones, Logan Allen, Adrienne Barbeau, Connor Christie.
It looks and sounds great. Great film that has transferred well to Blu-ray.
