Another success from IBIS but the staff here make it just a little more special. The service could sometimes be questionable, but in general still fine. The view was wonderful - watching the swans and ducks while having breakfast was a perfect way to start the day.

We had a room on the 1st floor overlook the lake inlet. I am not sure what the point of a window is when you can't see out of it unless you put your head out. Hotel was very close to all the sites of Annecy - the old part and the lake - so you do not need a car.

A bit further on into the more up market area you can find designer shopping but we preferred the old town it is much more picturesque and interesting.For the price, could be beat the location and room quality.
